Important Notice
Please note that the present Visa on Arrival system (provided free of charge) will be replaced by the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system. This will come into effect on 1 Jan 2012.
ETA is an official authorization for a Short Visit to Sri Lanka which is issued electronically. The ETA Processing Fee will cost US$ 10 per application from citizens of SAARC countries and US$ 20 for citizens of other countries, if lodged online. Citizens of Singapore and Maldives are exempt from the ETA.
You can use the existing facility of Free Visa on arrival if you confirmed your reservation before 31 Dec 2011 and enter Sri Lanka before 31 March 2012.
If you book and confirm your tour through our company before 31 Dec 2011, and plan to enter Sri Lanka before 31 March 2012; it's important that you send us copies of your passport details so that we can forward them to the Department of Immigration & Emigration (DI&E). We also strongly advise you to carry a copy of the correspondence with our company to show the immigration officers on arrival that you booked the tour before 31 Dec 2011.
